Shekinah has worked for Trenton Circus Squad, CirqueOvation, Hupstate Circus Festival, Princeton University, Circus Culture, Ithaca City School District, Cornell University, Symphoria, and numerous other clients as a circus artist. She is the director of four original, full length circus shows titled Change, Change 2, Forbidden Fruits, and The Making of Self.  Shekinah specializes in a variety of circus disciplines including: Aerial trapeze, Aerial Lyra, Acrobatics, Clowning Juggling, Rola Bola, and Dance. She choreographs, directs, and costumes all of her own work, and is particularly invested in sharing her circus joy and captivating performances with little Black girls everywhere, modeling what circus is and can be for the next generation.

Mission and Vision

  • Fully customizable circus acts for special events ranging from 3 minutes to full length shows, performed to a theme of the client’s choosing and in keeping with the colors and/or content of the event.

  • Accompanying circus learning workshops for clients wishing to add a bit of an experiential element to their special day, including try circus stations, aerial photo booth opportunities, and other participatory elements for events. 

  • Ambient performance - such as aerial bartending (which is very popular in major metropolitan cities), or various other long form movement that is perfect to accompany a cocktail hour at a formal event.

  • A wide range of acts to choose from, including themed family friendly acts, wedding acts, halloween, christmas, new years, and other holiday themed acts. 

  • Entertainment for academic community events, fundraisers, schools, and other community settings
